Contribute FeedbackFoodies in Baton Rouge have shared mixed reviews about Pizza Byronz. Some were disappointed with their Champignon flatbread and thick crust square pan pizza. Others criticized the poor service and quality of some dishes, but highlighted the wine selection as a plus. However, fans of the restaurant raved about the cold pizza, bread pudding parfait, and seafood Etouffee. Despite some hiccups with the bill and ambiance, many visitors plan to return due to the friendly staff and unique menu options. Overall, Pizza Byronz seems to have a dedicated following, with some room for improvement.
Being a pizza lover, I chose to try the square pan pizza at this restaurant in hopes of finding an easier way to eat without the toppings falling off. Unfortunately, I was let down to discover that this was actually their thickest crust option. I typically prefer thin crust, so this was not ideal for me. While the toppings, though mainly cheese, were tasty, there wasn't much variety. On the bright side, the wine I ordered was poured generously and tasted delicious, and the waitress provided top-notch service. Overall, there is still room for improvement on their signature pizza.
I am happy to have discovered Pizza Byronz! The restaurant is family friendly and has a nostalgic diner-style interior. The service was excellent and the menu had a lot of variety. I especially liked the different options for pizza crust and the creative menu choices. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour specials. The menu also offers delicious salad and pasta options. We will definitely be coming back!
We really enjoyed everything we had. The pizza was very good, of course, but it was also great cold the next day and the bread pudding parfait is on another level. Very reasonably priced, great service, and a refined, yet casual ambience that’s very comfortable. One where you can hear the music, but you don’t have to raise your voice to talk to the person across from you. Love this place!
The cocktails, food, and service at this restaurant were fantastic. We loved the muffuletta pizza and other menu options. They even offer a cauliflower crust for those who are gluten free. The pork sandwich was also delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was casual.
It was not a good experience. We called to add a person to our reservation and when we got there, it wasn’t changed and they crammed us into a small table. Four of the eight of us ordered dishes with rice and as the meal was getting served, they told us they ran out of rice for two of them. Out of rice in Louisiana. People that got the two with rice felt guilty as Mac and cheese didn’t compliment their entree. Then they offered desserts as compensation, so when we ordered the four desserts, they only comped one. The creole pot roast had no flavor and tasted as it was made and frozen in portions and the seared tuna tasted like frozen prepackaged tuna. Our server was sweet, but that was the only thing this restaurant had going for them.
