I went here a few times some years ago and remember the food being great but service being slowSo I came in for lunch with that same expectation.

"The staff there are very helpful and nice. I can't eat onions that I forgot that my sandwich came with onions, so I forgot to ask it without which was completely my fault and I went and spoke to them and they made me a complete new sandwich without onions and were very friendly. Another day later I went back and the manager reminded me and asked the crew to make sure there were no onions on the sandwich before I got it at all without saying anything when I asked for no onions, but she was only sure because she knew I couldn't eat them. They were always very polite and friendly and helpful I love the staff in this restaurant."

"What a delicious place! That was the last restaurant we visited in Batesville and we know we knew it earlier! The hours are very short, but the food is made fresh! The daily specialties are delicious and the lemonade, you just have to try yourself! I went with a muffaletta and was very happy! Very recommended!"

"Good food, good prices. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, 2 eggs and biscuits with gravy. My wife ordered the 2 egg, 2 sausage, biscuits gravy breakfast. My dad had an omelette with fried potatoes and a biscuit. Everything was very good! We had to wait about 10 extra minutes for the biscuits, but they were fresh, fluffy, right out of the oven! Service was really good too. Didn’t take too long for the food to come out of the kitchen. Would definitely return, only problem, we’re just visiting from San Diego. Definitely recommend!"
