Lakai Noodle Restaurant - Bankstown

I enjoyed the meals and service and the meals were big. Once you know what you want you need to write it on the note pad and then ring the bell on the table

Had a really good experience here, the food was great and so was the service, the music was a lovely addition to our meals.

Ordered the Lakai dry egg noodle. After about 15 mins our meal was brought out and I noticed an ingredient missing and pointed it out to the waitress. Pressed the bell twice for service and we were greeted again by the same waitress who had shown us to our seats. I asked the waitress why the "fried prawn chip" was missing and she explained that only the "soupy" dish contained the prawn chip that I was after. I said to her that this was not the first time I'd dined here and that I know what was in that dish. I remember vividly that the prawn chip gave the noodle a distinct crunchy prawn taste. Hard to forget! But the waitress insisted that I was wrong. The waitress made no effort to call the owner or manager to clarify the issue. She made me feel like I was the idiot.I made no attempt at finishing the dish as I was disappointed that the prawn chip was missing, that I was humiliated by the waitress and that the sauce that went with the noodle was bland and tasteless. I paid for my dish and gave the waitress my true feedback that I didn't enjoyed that dish at all and that the quality had changed dramatically compared to how it was before.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The music added a nice touch to our meal.
