"Wonderful place. Outdoor seating. Large portions. We ask for cups to put kids cones in to give us back up. AND we take baby wipes. Can't recommend that enough, for after your kids dive into that ice cream with enthusiasm. You may need a couple too."

"It's a chain obviously, but I've eaten at this place three times in two different locations and the food is great. I've had the Salami and Bobby McGee and loved it. Cool vibes, it's a deli so really unassuming. Nice to sit outside in the beautiful Maine weather"

"You can 't drive through Bangor without hearing about Frank 's at least a dozen times. It has been a bakery institution in Bangor since 1947 and still maintains the family feel. Need a sugary pick me up? Stop by in the morning for a fresh baked doughnut; hungry for lunch? Try their turkey or chicken pies or one of their deli sandwiches. Husband 's birthday? Call a day ahead to have a custom cake made. Need to send cookies with him to work? Drop by in the morning to select some of their freshly made and designed lobsters, moose, birthday or seasonal selections. Their cookies are fabulous and reminded me of my hometown local cookery. I wanted to eat the entire dozen I had purchased in store. Their cakes have the perfect 'icing to cake ratio ' for those of you who cringe at the thought of too much icing. Their cakes are moist and decadent. You can also pick up pre-made cookie or cake mixes or other small baking supplies ins store as well. Whether you are passing through or staying for good, make sure you make Frank 's a part of your Bangor experience."

"Eat here for 11.5 years and eat always well. I would say the best Japanese food near Bangor-Brewer. the owner and his children were very nice. they always recognized us. Too bad the owner changed soon, but he will keep everything the same, including the cook in the back. I love the appetizers, sushi, sashimi, main dishes from this restaurant. the price makes sense. a thing I would change is that the new owner wears something to cover his long bart. he works directly with the sushi production and customers can see him directly. it is not professional at all and feared to order the sushi/sashimi only if the haare falls from its bart."
