Five of us went to the top hot springs restaurant for drinks and sandwiches after visiting the top hot springs. The food and the drinks were all right.

"It's basically tradition to stop in for a Beavertail any time we're back in Banff. They're always made fresh so they come out hot and crispy. All the flavours are really good, some of them might be a little sweet in my opinion, but I can never go wrong with the Classic or the Kililoe Sunrise (classic with some lemon juice sprinkled on top! We always come here and then go for an ice cream at Moo's just a couple shops down, although they also serve gelato at Beavertail's, the vanilla gelato also makes for a good combination with the classic!"

"Great spot to stop in for a quick coffee and sandwich. I had the pastrami and a bowl of tomato soup. Both items came out hot and were delicious. Service was fast and very helpful. The cafe has a number of small tables so don't plan on going with a large group. It is more of a cafe style place, not so much a sit down restaurant. They also have alcoholic drinks if you are in the mood."
