Bacon and egg sandwich was delicious. Coffee was reasonable. Easy stop near petrol so no detour needed. Best of all it was warm on a freezing day.

"We were in the pokie area and honestly the the security is useless. Over the past3 or 4 weeks we have been to Craigs it seems the staff are quite happy to allow some element of society to come in ,act loud and use offensive language. This is not what we expect from this beautiful building and all its hype, sure other pokie venues are like it ,but not at Craig's .So disappointed that we cannot go out nowadays without seeing and hearing this unacceptable behaviour. The security at Craigs is only good for telling old men off ,they do nothing when it comes to a real problem"

"While the vegan options were limited to 3 or 4, I really loved our time at Hop Temple. The lounge bar vibes were right up our alley, and the staff were so helpful with ordering. We tried the nachos and popcorn cauli, although I can't find them on their current menu online."

"Gift voucher went to waste. We had a gift voucher to go here and I was still sad that we wasted money! The voucher was for a substantial amount of money and yet, after ordering two mains and an entree, we didn't have enough left over for drinks. The food was far below what I expected. When I went to open the door, I assumed it must be closed, because it was so dark inside. Not many others were in the restaurant and the atmosphere was pretty dreary. I know that Dyer's has been there for a long time, so was excited to see what it was like. Unfortunately, I was not impressed."

"Even in the current lock-down, Red Pepper comes through with take away that brings silver service meals to your own home. A shame not to be able to dine at the restaurant, but with the option of Take away fine food it makes the isolation bearable. If you are in Ballarat make sure you book in to this fine restaurant and sample some of their amazing menu. Or if we are still in lock-down get some take away, to good to miss."

"Took one of my reps here for lunch today and was very impressed with the quality of food and fast service. Place isn`t an over dressed franchise chain cafe but has a more family warm feel that a lot of cafes in bigger centres and cities...lack. My rep is a die hard Vegan so had the V G F wagffles and she was raving about how tasty they were. I had their Mushroom Brioche with bacon and this was also exceptional. Had their lattes as well and was actually served at a perfect temperature and didnt have a burnt taste like so many cafes have a skill at doing. Definitely would recommend"
