Punjabi Garden - Bairnsdale

This is the worst Indian food I have had in Australia in the past 10 years. It was terrible, lacked flavor, and was overpriced.

I think this was one of the worst restaurant with very high prices. Jal freji wasn't even cooked properly. Hope this restaurant find someone who know how to manage a business.

Desperate, we went into this restaurant.... We were given some poppadoms and dips whilst we sat.. they were saturated dripping in oil.. poppadoms were bitter horrible... ( how can anyone get them wrong) the dips were foul.... the serving sizes of meals people were eating were small, and we were even given hot glasses to drink our water with...... and prices were high..... we left with out ordering a meal..... which we felt was a blessing.... I hope the people who have this resturant consider getting a good chef.... I say this so they stay in business... I wish them well, and hope they really do something so they are successful, and not let the chef, cook, lose them their business..

Just a quick stop in Bairnsdale after over 3hrs driving while heading to East Gippsland. This restaurant was recommended. Still with 1 1/2 hrs driving at night to go, only wanted something simple to eat on the road. Bought samosas and naan bread. Given a large glass of cool water while i waited. Lovely staff. I was quickly back on the road to continue my journey. Will definately stop here for a proper sit down meal when I next travel through Bairnsdale.

Despite what the menus, website, and other sources might say, this restaurant claimed they were too busy for home delivery when we asked tonight. This is clearly misleading and falls far short of our expectations. Punjabi Garden, this is unacceptable. If you are unable to offer home delivery, it should be clearly stated in all your advertisements.
