"The cafe is located at the north side of Bad Hofgastein where the location can be also reached by walking upto the hill. There is an amazing view where you can also get a little bit warm with sunbathing.The menu includes local desert tastes and typical coffee selections. I recommend to the couples without children for a silent break."

"Since 2008, when we first visited this Café Pirnbacher, we have visited it in 2011, 2013 but not this year when we were at Impuls Hotel Tirol. Apart from our climb to the Café for coffee and/or cold drink, we always enjoyed the beautiful views of Bad Hofgastein town and mountains on the south side."

"Small restaurant, bistro-style, 20-25 seats max. Italian dishes, menu focused on antipasti (wide selection range), pasta (homemade) and pizza. Impressive quality and taste; freshness of ingredients stands out. Good selection of wines. Friendly and efficient staff (notably Cristian and owner Luca). Relaxed bistro atmosphere. Overall, great value for money and highly recommended.Following TripAdvisor's recommended list, we explored a few restaurants in Bad Hofgastein for dinner. Gastronomia stood out among them. Food quality reminded us of the real deal in Italy. Happily went back again for dinner; all in all, tried over half of the menu and found nothing to fault. It seems we're not the only happy patrons - many were returning clients and all had reservations. Impossible to get in from 17:30 till 20:00 without prior reservation."

"Outstanding hostess who is great to talk to. You feel comfortable in the restaurant and are happy to stay longer. The ambience fits the title and is very stylish. But the real star of the evening is the food. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. The meat is of excellent quality and the side dishes and sauces complement the meal perfectly. Prices are also attractive for the location, quality and service. Gladly again!"

"The new team has received the old fashionable look of this old guest house dining room that is neither cheesy nor pretentious in any way. The food is very good, attractive presented with good portion size. Prices are reasonable with friendly service. Hard to beat."
