"Flew into Germany from the states on a Monday; many of the local establishments are closed on Mondays. The hotel recommended this small out of the way restaurant as an option and it did not disappoint. The hostess did not speak English but she did...speak Spanish (and German), so I was able to order fairly easily. Everything was top notch; the sherry, bread, salad, and steak all incredible. I would highly recommend this for anyone staying in Bad Breisig, any day of the week."

"We were on the Christmas market in 2015. Since the entire scenery and ambience is very great, we decided to look at this market once. The market is opened only on certain weekend days. Unfortunately we were disappointed! There were just one hand full of buds in the beer garden area. In 5 minutes we saw everything. We really expected more. The interior of the brewery rooms looks quite cozy and rustic. In a small shop you can buy various brewery products such as freshly baked bread, beers and souvenirs. "The hotel is located on a hill above a small town but is on a vineyard. The rooms are nice and efficient. The restaurant is magnificent and we had an exceptional meal. My husband had the 3-course meal which started with an amuse-bouche of asparagus panacota. The panacota was perfectly executed. I was quite impressed and was looking forward to the next couse. 2nd course was a fish over asparagus also delicious then came the palate cleanser a cucumber sorbet ... wow I could eat that everyday! The main meal was a very tender beef cheek and beef sous vide, less tender but tasty. As my main meal, I had the fish over risotto with asparagus which was a delight. We finished with a nice dessert. Overall a superb meal, best meal we ever had travelling in Germany. Congratulations to the talented Chef and thank you!"

"Mit 15 Gästen waren wir gleichzeitig Essen . Der Empfang freundlich und der Service sehr unkompliziert. Unser Gäste waren alle angetan von der Qualität der Speisen und und dem Service . Deutsche Küche die sich Wirklich sehen lassen kann und ausgezeichnet ist . DIe Inhaber freundlich und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk das Essen kam zügig obwohl wir als carte bestellt haben . Wir waren zum erstenmal im Ahr Vinum und werden jetzt öftres kommen Sehr zu empfehlen"
