At Coffee Bean Leaf Tea, you can expect to receive excellent coffee and service. I made the mistake of sitting outside in the evening at 8 o'clock, which was not ideal for a relaxing coffee experience as there was a constant stream of people asking for money. I was approached by six different people in just 30 minutes. While I understand the occasional solicitation, being asked for 500php upon leaving was unexpected... View all feedback.

What Pasaka Kleopas dislikes about The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf:
I'm not sure that it's entirely reasonable to review a coffee shop, which after all specializes in coffee, with full service restaurants. If I remember my days in DLSU, the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was always my place to snack and study. I loved it until I graduated. The Greenhills branch also displayed the similarities to my experience in the DLSU branch. It is good to bring back the memories. I am so coming back anytime.

As with most other coffee shops, it's neither good nor bad.I am not a devotee of most of the coffee served in the Philippines, since I find it weak, pallid, and altogether uninteresting. This place is no exception, though to be fair coffee shops in this country cater to local tastes, which favor highly sweetened, fairly weak beverages.

During my time at DLSU, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was my go-to spot for snacks and studying. I enjoyed it so much that I continued visiting even after I graduated. The Greenhills branch brought back the same feeling of nostalgia from my college days. I can't wait to go back again.

I'm not sure if it's fair to compare a coffee shop that mainly focuses on coffee to full-service restaurants. This place, like its competitors, offers simple and uninspired food, average pastries, and a typical selection of sweets. Just like most other cafes, it is neither exceptional nor terrible. Personally, I am not a fan of the coffee typically served in the Philippines as I find it to be weak, bland, and uninteresting. This place is no different, but it caters to the local taste preference for very sweet and mild drinks.
