I saw some pretty negative reviews regarding The Chippy but as it was the nearest fish chip shop to where I was staying, decided to try it. Firstly, the shop was immaculate. Secondly, greeted very nicely by the staff behind the counter when placing...my order. What Alison Allen doesn't like about The Chippy:
Could've had a game of cricket with the battered haddock, even used it as a spanking paddle if u so wished, it was so overcooked. Maybe just a bad day, it happens. The 30% fish to 70% batter ratio was actually more disappointing tbh. The chips were tasty read more.
