We always enjoy eating at Uncle Julio’s restaurants. Their signature “Swirls” are great and the food is always solid. This time, however, the rice served with the enchiladas was cold and lumpy, as if it had been prepared in advance, refrigerated and not properly or thoroughly warmed prior to serving. Beef fajitas are amazing but the signature item is the chocolate pinata. The service was a little slow, like getting drinks and menus, but we were a large party and kept ourselves entertained so it was okay. Our server was a little standoffish at first but warmed up as the meal progressed. I would recommend to friends but only for the novelty of the chocolate pinata. read more.
