Mia Italian Tapas Bar - Austin

My party returned to The Domain to make up for a disappointing Italian meal we had previously in the same shopping area. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing! You will not be let down by anything on the menu!

Love this place! We travel nearly 2 hours a couple of Sundays each month to catch their brunch. Always looking forward to the next visit. Lina took excellent care of us on this visit ????

I really enjoyed Mia Italian Tapas Bar, and look forward to returning for their full menu.Set menu for Valentine's Day, but it was really great. We still had access to tons of tapas per person, but approx available from which to choose. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates.Drinks were limited due to the event, but the bar was available. I stuck with beer cold, fresh, my wife had a wine which was very well poured meaning we were not shorted, but also not an aggressive pour. The entree was delicious. I don't know if they serve these regularly, but the Short Ribs and Lamb Shank were really well done. Overall, to this point, we had drinks, tapas, entree. All of these were excellent. Our one issue was dessert from fixed menu took a very long time to get to us, and it was basically just fancy vanilla ice cream, which is lackluster. Everything else was really good, to where I didn't need dessert anyways, so I wasn't bothered by this, just found it not matching to the rest of our extremely positive experience. Would recommend

The service is where this establishment shines. Friendly and attentive best describes the experience with the employees from the hostess to the waiter, as well as the bartender. The food was definitely above average and all meals prepared without complaint. My recommendation would be to expand on the entree options and it would allow for different palates to fully enjoy the presentation.

I love this restaurant for a romantic date, catching up with friends, or hosting a big party. I recently celebrated my birthday here and James, a staff member, was very quick to respond to my reservation request the same day. I also needed to add a few extra chairs on the morning of the event, and they were able to accommodate with a simple phone call. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. The food was served promptly and was incredibly delicious, especially for the first-time diners in our group. I am thankful for the wonderful experience they provided and look forward to returning soon.
