"Tongue thai'd because of the delicious flavour packed food and the amazing friendly service. We ordered the famous curry puffs which were delicious little golden parcels filled with a tasty creamy curry filling. Also ordered the spicy fried rice, red duck curry, chilli basil chicken and their famous pad Thai. Everything was thairiffic! The meat was tender and moist, not overlooked and dry. Ordered the fried ice cream which was a hit with everyone. Amazing food delivered by amazing service, this place has become my favourite Thai restaurant!!"

"Memorable for the passionate and considerate service, a slightly uncomfortable straight backed bench/chair, and the relaxed relatively private dining feel. I’m sure you’d get a lot more out of Momiji if you ate seafood (I don’t , but the menu is diverse enough to make it an accomodating dinning choice. The food was certainly flavourful, but unfortunately as I often find with eastern asian cuisine it did feel heavy in the stomach. The tofu was easily the most memorable I’ve eaten but it also had a very very thick and oily dressing. Still the variety in the bento was considered and appreciated. The gyoza were also good but the miso(? soup was awesome. If you like the cuisine I’d certainly recommend."

"This restaurant is a great little gem of a find. It is small on the inside but huge on flavour and variety. If you have never tried Indonesian food before, do yourself a favour and book a table. Mamaku is a family run restaurant and you are made welcome from the time you arrive. We started our meal with Wonton soup (my brother's favourite, after all it was his birthday). Some of the best wonton we have ever eaten and believe me, we have eaten a lot of wonton before. We then had Dim Sims with Peanut Sauce, my personal favourite. This was then followed in quick succession with Beef Curry, Hakka braised pork, crispy calamari, rice noodles with prawns and one with chicken, a couple of plates seasonal vegetables and steamed rice. It is BYO so you can bring what you want without having to pay the extra cost of a licensed restaurant. It is only a small restaurant so ring and book otherwise you may have to wait for a table or get your meal as a takeaway. This was one of the best meals we have had and can throughly recommend it."
