Sushi Train hands down has to be my favourite sushi restaurant. The food on the train is always fresh and the staff are quick if you would like to order something off the menu. The VIP cards are great for frequent members as well. Always nice to get some money off when you're a regular diner. The gyozas are tasty and the spicy chicken is definitely a must! Great customer service and not too pricey. View all feedback.

What brings me back The awesome staff and service, when you meet the owner he is cheery, always keen for a chat, even when it's super busy! Free green tea
One of the few sushi bars/trains where you still get complimentary green tea.
Ok so the sushi was delicious, fresh and lots of choice. But seriously, sachets of soy sauce? The sauce went everywhere.

I have been going to sushi train at Toombul for about 10 years. I moved away from the area, but still visited 2 or 3 times a week. I always got the mixed sashimi platter, sometimes a Salmon Tataki, and often, Salmon Nigiri. I would say that the freshness, generous portions and price would have made it a definite competitor for one of the best sushi restaurants in Brisbane.... then it changed ownership. The presentation is slack - the sashimi platter is half the size, the pieces look like they've been cut with a blunt knife and are never symmetrical. The fish diversity is poor, and the price is almost double. Everything on the train now looks to be westernized fried rubbish with mayonnaise all over. I've given it at least 10 visits with the new ownership, but I won't bother any more.
