Was Jane Fakhrurrazi at Lumbertown Ale House a mag?
I went to get a take out meal at this restaurant and asked about allergies. The chef himself came out to speak with me and carefully told me all the ingredients in one of the specials. A short rib calzone and garden salad with a...cranberry vinagrette. Best calzone I have ever had. Salad was delicious and so was dressing. Really impressed!! View all feedback.

Very nice cozy restaurant. A nice range of beers. As expensive as you might expect this type of establishment to be.My issue with my visit on December 5th in the evening was the waitress. There were two working. The waitress with tattoos was very kind and she seemed happy enough to be working. The other waitress, the brunette, was an absolute snob. She looked like she wanted to be any other place. Like the look on her face was just miserable. Did she get asked to work on her day off or something?? When I go to this type of restaurant (cozy pub)I expect the wait staff to be friendly. Like, at least try?Won't be back.

We had a really good lunchtime meal here on the weekend.I have two complaints about many restaurants: loud music and hard finishes that amplify sound. However I didn 't have to worry about that here. Despite being nearly full, the restaurant was quiet. The food was excellent and flavorful and there was a good variety on the menu. One indication of how good the food was when a group of 10 stopped talking and tucked right into their food. There is a good selection of local craft beers on tap, from lagers to IPAs, as well as mocktails and craft sodas too.The service was good to round out a positive experience.I will definitely come here again on my next trip to the 'Prior!

I am living in Ottawa at the moment and am a tourist to Arnprior on the regular, and it is in part due to the delicious food served by this wonderful establishment. They boast making everything from scratch and it shows! I have not had a single thing I didn't like. This weekend was my birthday and we decided to come down along with my mother, who typically has very picky taste. To our surprise she could not say enough good things about the dishes. We had the poutine, the pulled pork burger and the fish and chips. I would definitely recommend the fish n chips and would be confident in saying it is one of the best within a half hour drive of Ottawa in any direction.Keep up the good work!

I celebrated my birthday with my mom, in a lunch time. We loved the food and the service. The girls are totally nice, and the space is very cool.
