The cafe in Armidale that serves up great coffee and delicious food while providing excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is extensive with reasonably priced dishes, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. The friendly and accommodating staff go above and beyond to make customers feel at home, even accommodating pets outside. The overall experience is positive, with the only downside being potential delays in service during busy times. Overall, a great spot to visit for a meal or a coffee with friends.

Second time here. Visiting from Queensland and this is a wonderful place to eat. We have our little moodle Missy with us and they make her feel welcome too. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely and friendly. Will be back everytime we visit Armidale. View all feedback.

What Lucas Verdugo dislikes about Rene on the Mews:
Had a couple of coffees here on 12 May. They weren't busy and it took a long time to get them. Had to ask for sugar. Was told they don't leave the sugar on the tables outside because people steal them. Would be good if they provided them and the later removed them before people pinch them. Coffee was good but won't come again. Just too slow for us. Probably OK if you have time to burn. View all feedback.

A super variety of lunch offerings at this pleasant cafe made for difficult choices so return visits will be necessary.Service is charming and relaxed and it is a great place to meet friends for coffee,a snack or meal.

We attended this small cafe for lunch last weekend. The menu is extensive and offers a large range of reasonably priced dishes. The usual suspects are available, the standouts were the grilled salmon with plonta chips. Do try and get there before 1200pm as the breakfast menu is better than the lunch offerings.

Our reserved table was wauting for us exactly how we wanted it. The waitress was flawless in her service and demeanor with us - and even supplied a candle for a cake for our 70 year old friend. Nothing was a problem.

Excellent customer service, great quality food, extremely friendly staff. This cafe is puppy friendly too for all animal lovers (although they have to be outside - but are very happy to accommodate). Staff provided us with local knowledge re town etc as we were new to town. Nothing was too much bother, happy to substitute food especially with allergies, were so very flexible. Even offering something extra instead of. Coffee great (hubby liked). Good variety of food to suit all tastes. Can't recommend highly enough!
