"Excellent Cafe both for its ambience and delicious coffee; the pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup were perfect. What was truly impressive was their attention to detail. We had a toddler with us and the warm milk ordered was perfect. The waitress kept an eye on our table to re-top up the free ice-cold water provided. I should also mention that the whole restaurant was spotlessly clean including the lavatory. I particularly liked the open door to the kitchen where you could see the chef busy at work. Always fascinating to see this and of course, reassuring."

"The latest reviews suggested slow service so we expected it to be slow but we weren't in s hurry. Ordered Irn Brews starter and main courses. Irn Brews took minutes to arrive, starter minutes and main courses hour. It...would have been nice if the staff told us of the delay but no luck there. On the plus side, the food was excellent and as the establishment is dog friendly it was a bonus for us. Hope they get some staff who can go faster than a snail as it used to be an excellent place to eat as earlier reviews suggest."

"Lovely little cafe with friendly staff. Lots of cakes and ice creams/toppings to chose from. Reasonably priced items. We had drinks, ice cream and cakes so cannot comment on the savoury options. Scones and cakes were delicious."

"Dined twice , first the downfall,waiting far too long for starters both times and it was not busy, being a waitress myself in the past we were told to keep window seats waiting to make the resturant look busy, after the wait food was amazing as well as staff and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere."

"Hello no fish chips here was the opening line when we were greeted at the door by Gabriel. We told him we saw the menu beforehand in passing, so knew what to expect. As we already had our fill of fish chips the previous evening, we wanted something different. The food, wine cakes here are fantastic. This place has a great atmosphere. Gabriel is a fab host and has hilarious banter with all of his customers. Both guys are doing a great job. Gabriel does have a list of other restaurants he recommends to people if this restaurant isn 't up their street. Remember peeps, No fish chips here!"
