Holy Loch Coffee Shop offers an intriguing mix of dining experiences. While many patrons rave about the superb full Scottish breakfast—cooked to perfection with delightful accompaniments—others report undercooked food and disappointing service. The atmosphere is often praised for its warmth and dog-friendly charm, with walls adorned with adorable canine photos. Friendly staff contribute to the café's appeal, although service inconsistencies and rude interactions have marred some visits. Despite this, standout beverages like the Chai Latte and friendly service keep customers returning, making it a spot worth a try for breakfast and light bites in Dunoon.

The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered a full breakfast along with square sausage rolls. The coffee was enjoyable and the staff were very friendly.

During our family trip to Dunoon, we decided to stop at this coffee shop on a Saturday for a meal. Despite it being busy with customers, the staff were extremely helpful and provided great service. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the coffee, with the Chai Latte being a particular standout. If we lived in the area, we would definitely become regular customers.

Dreadful, overpriced coffee. Despite a double shot this was like thin brown milk. Too much milk, cheap coffee

Love Holy Loch Coffee Shop! Best BLT in town. They also make a delicious pot of chai tea! Great customer service and dog friendly as well. They even have display shelves with items for purchase and lots of adorable dog photos from customers decorating their walls. There’s fresh and tasty soups daily and specials too.

This was our third time visiting this restaurant for breakfast, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. There were four of us in our group, but only three of us received our breakfast orders. When I inquired about the missing order, the waitress said she would look into it. A while later, another woman came out and informed us that the order had been placed twice and was missing a burger. She went on to say that if we still wanted the burger, we would have to come back inside, place a new order, and pay for it. Her manner was very hostile and rude. No apology was offered for the mistake, and she seemed to imply that the fault was ours, which it was not. Although I understand that mistakes happen, there was no excuse for the way she spoke to us. A simple apology and a promise to fix the mistake would have been sufficient.
