The food is average, but it's not bad. The tacos can be greasy, and the queso is a creamy version of Velveeta and Rotel. Our waiter struggled with our order, but made corrections.

This, hands down, my favorite place to eat. I was raised in NM and have high expectations for Mexican food. Tacos Garcia has fresh, delicious food. There is sometimes a wait because everyone wants to eat there! The grilled tacos are my husband's favorite. He gets a side of NM red to put on them. I like the Mexican Stir Fry and the Mitsy's Special. The service is always great. They are accomidating to our large family and are sweet to the kids. We have never been dissapointed and we have eaten there many many times over the years.

It isa a small family owned place. Not related to the one on ross street. This one is more authentic, not tex mex much.
