Was User at The Alkaline Cafe a mag?
Absolutely wonderful selection of high quality fresh ingredients cleverly put together to create so many great choices. Sweet and savoury all food options, juices, coffees and other hot drinks. I enjoyed their mixed grilled greens which were lightly sautéed in coconut oil. I have avoided Brussel sprouts since i was a kid but embraced the way they were cooked and admit they were delicious along with the other ingredie... View all feedback.

What User dislikes about The Alkaline Cafe:
Despite a prior and subsequently reconfirmed booking for morning tea, when our large group arrived, the staff on duty were unaware of our booking. Service was slow and even a basic ticket system when individual orders were placed, would have avoided the embarrassing situation for both the waitresses and the customer's, with the waitresses having to stand at a large table and yell out the order they were holding. Had a light lunch here, I had the banana fruit toast and my sister the pumpkin scones. Both were delicious and what was even better was knowing everything sold is gluten free. Friendly staff and great food. Sorry no photos ate before I thought to take one!

We stopped for a coffee and some cake shortly before the cafe closed on Saturday afternoon. The coffee & cake were excellent and the welcome warm, with no hints at all that they were closing soon (thanks for that guys, really appreciated the kindness).Would have loved to have returned for breakfast. The next day if they had been open, never mind- next trip, we'll be back!

Smoothies & coffee are all excellent. Food fresh! Staff are lovely. Place is clean and tidy & warm in winter.

This situation was exacerbated by the fact our group had been split over two sections. I believe in giving credit where credit is due but unfortunately, lack of communication by management or staff in charge and basic training in customer service let themselves down and disappointed a lot of people.

Love coming to Alkaline for breakfast, morning tea and lunch. The raw and vegan selection is amazing, and really nice drinks selection. Even my relatives who aren't so keen on this type of food, find that there is food available for them (such as chic beetroot cake). The prices are reasonable considering the price of the ingredients that the sweets are made of. A beautiful atmosphere and definitely a great place to try out x
