Best Indian food in Durham. Love everything they make. They have a new owner but the food is still great. We can only hope the new owners keep up the top quality ingredients and fantastic prep work of the original.

We have visited this family run restaurant many times over the years with last month (June 2017) being our most recent. It has always served authentic delicious Indian food spiced to the diners taste at reasonable prices. (Tip: don't order very spicy unless you are used to it)The owner of this restaurant recently retired and sold the business to someone else and we can only hope the previous standard of quality will be sustained. We are certainly going to try it again. The restaurant is small and a little rough around the edges so you might be inclined to pass it by. There is parking around back but it's easy to miss the entrance.Because of its size and local popularity it is always advisable to make reservations, though they offer takeout too. I gather there is also a lunch buffet though I've never been to that.

Decided to revisit a local eatery for a ethenic change. The buffet has many food items to pick from. They all appeared to be resonably fresh - not sitting there for hours. Items that I ate were very flavourful. Looking forward to returning to this long time Ajax establishment.

My husband and I have been coming here for 9 years. Lunch buffet is by far the best deal, but dinner offers more options. Either way, the BEST Indian cuisine in Durham, and we drove a half an hour there and back today just for lunch. Hot FRESH naan, all of the dishes are incredible and my husband LOVES the desserts. We will always return!
