"Picked this spot because I was looking for authentic Hawaiian before leaving the island. It did not disappoint. It's a locally owned small restaurant in a strip mall. They were very kind and helpful. We got the Local Girl and added chicken. The ribs were amazing as well as the pork, but the star was the MACARONI SALAD. It was so good I had to order more. It was probably the best macaroni salad I've ever had in my life. And I eat it pretty regularly. We left feeling so content with having authentic Hawaiian as well as delicious food! It was a perfect stop before getting to the airport. Will be dreaming of that macaroni salad for a long time. Mahalo!"

"Met the husband here for lunch. Was a little sus because of the location... has no idea if there would be good sushi in this concrete jungle.... But quickly I was shown this place is leeeegit. The service was quick, polite, attentive. The ambiance gives a bit of a small hole in the wall vibe.. nothing too spectacular but it's clean. And of course.. the most important part.. the fish was super fresh. I was really craving salmon today and that salmon on salmon roll is unreal. Highly recommend if you're craving a fresher light roll. Husband got the katsu don bowl.. he ate it so quick I didn't even snap a photo first. I am stoked we stumbled upon this sweet spot on Yelp and decided to give it a chance. We will def be back when I can sneak away for lunch again."

"The smash burger was definitely the highlight for me. Yum!! I’ll be back just for that!! I got the seasoned fries, but luckily someone at my table also got the regular fries. The regular fries were delicious. The seasoned fries were just a little overly spicy with their seasoning. The parking is a little limited but there’s a lot of metered street parking in the area."
