"I've eaten at this restaurant years ago and the food was incredible. However, upon visiting this restaurant recently, I can honestly attest that the food was HORRIBLE. My husband and I ordered the fried fish and chips and took our order home, only to discover that the fish was heavily battered, soggy, and very dense. It was largely inedible and not at all what fried cod should be like (not crispy and light). It seems that the food prep person needs retraining or something, and the batter for the fish was far too dense, tough, and bread-like. Weird. The fries had been left in the oil too long and were overly greasy and limp. Not appealing. I'll be looking for another restaurant for my fish chips fix."

"On the last Friday 3 out of 5 were sick. the three who got sick all ordered the fried fish. in any case was not fresh! I was embarrassed because I took my family who was visited from the state and got food poisoning. I like this place."

"Background: I ate here about 15 20 times. A good selection of hot pot options to choose from. The bowl is good, but the bowl is only moderately filled. My personal favorite is the Curry Fish Ball Pot. I didn't try the appetizers or drinks. Service is moderate, but mostly from the male servers. Many of the male servers talk to each other instead of looking around. Several times I was not asked, my order was straightened for my order. The server with the tattoos is an exception, although it is very appealing and nice. Most female workers actually react. Expected waiting time after an order seems to be enough somewhere from 15 45 minutes. On an occasion where I had tipped, I checked my credit card to see that I had $3 extra from what I had originally tipped. I called an apology, but I never got a refund for the extra charged tip. The toilet is clean."

"Ordering online is impossible. No phone service/working line either. The food was good. A bit pricey but so is everything in Davis. Ordered a seafood boil combo #1 they completely forgot to add the sausage, but no way of knowing until i took it home and opened it. No way of calling either. Some of it spilled because it only had one thin layer or aluminum foil.I addded stuff to my food at home which made wat better, but it was already a good base.Edit:Went back a second time and the order was short again. ?"
