"My good lady wife booked us for weekend visit to the hotel. Event was an indulgence weekend. Food and plants!. Weekend included tickets for Harrogate Spring Experience plant show and visit to local stately home. However, star of the weekend was the hotel and the fantastic food. We had upgraded our room so ended up with a huge room at the front of the hotel overlooking the Teepee the hotel had used to enable outside gatherings during lock down. Also very nice view over the lawns. As the food for the weekend was not normal restaurant food I won 't do a review of the restaurant. However the skills of the kitchen team are in no doubt. Evening meals on Friday and saturday, and lunch on Saturaday, were absolutely superb. All staff at the hotel were great friendly, helpful, welcoming, etc. Covid rules in place at the hotel were very good. Clear one way systems, lots of hand sanitiser stations, dedicated table in dining room etc etc. Really was very good. Some lovely walks on public paths all around the hotel. Helped work off a little of of the fantastic food."

"Called here for lunch after a walk with the dogs and couldn’t be made to feel more welcome! We had 3 dogs with us and they showed us to a table but we decided to sit outside as was lovely. We both had fish and chips and it was huge!! Beautiful fish and mega chips! Water was brought out for the dogs and table service for the drinks too. Staff lovely and friendly, would highly recommend."
