"This is one of the absolute worst McDonald locations I can recall. I cannot stress how bad of an experience I had trying to order food at this location. It should be closed permanently and everyone fired."

"Stopped into Bicycle Revolution on a road trip for a wheel true. Turns out it was the tire, not the wheel. They were able to help me out with a few other minor things, which was great. I got some good beta on some local trails, which were awesome. Everyone there, even other customers, were super friendly and very helpful! If I’m ever back down that way again, I will absolutely stop back in. 10/10 would recommend giving these guys your business"

"Great culinary experience. I heard about the Mermaid Cafe in the past, but I didn't know where it was. After I googled it, I found that it is located at Lake Caroline in the Gluckstadt community, north of Jackson of I-55. My wife and I had finished some shopping chores in Dogwood and I wanted to surprise them with a new dining area as we like to try new restaurants that we were not yet. I had googled the Mermaid Cafe and found out where it was. After I went to the fresh market and picked up some vanilla flavoring for our cakes, I told her I brought them to a new place. We drove to Gluckstadt and left us back to Lake Caroline. Just beautiful!! We sat at 5:30 in the restaurant and a very nice young man came and gave us menus. We ordered the fried crab claws, the rubber bears, the bride and the soup and a seafood plate. I told the waiter to bring the food at a time. When the food came, my wife and I were amazed at the portions and knew that the plate would feed us both easily. We both ate the fried fish first and both looked at us in amazement. I told her, "Oh my God! Every bite from the perfectly fried oysters, shrimps, fish, crab claws and delicious soups were amazing!!! There is nothing in New Orleans or another place where we have been comparing with this food. The fried foods were not fat and every bite was like the sky. I never had fried fish so good! There were small fried crab balls on the plate that seemed to have cheese and pieces of shrimps and crabs in the middle. They were amazing!!! It's hard to kick oysters everywhere. These oysters were perfect!! They were crispy on the outside with a light bread, and the inside was simply soft enough to give you the full oyster taste. We ended the night with a chocolate chip coffee cookie with ice cream and chocolate sauce. WOW!!! My wife and I enjoyed food all over the world and in the United States, but this food was from Master Piece quality. Great food, pontoons cross the lake, sun over a beautiful lake!!! AMAZING!!! p.s. We even have to watch a wedding on the way that took place over the water from the restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. What a find!!!!"

"They were a bit slower than the locations in Jackson and Ridgeland, but I think they have an employee shortage so I didn't mind. The food was great (as usual) so it was definitely worth it and I honestly didn't mind to slow down for a couple extra minutes. The employees at the windows were friendly so that's always an A . I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a little food on the road or a job as they are hiring."
