"Rather, we wanted to escape corrosive and extremely annoying baularm in our near surroundings for some time. For almost four weeks an apartment has been renovated and renovated among us. I think that the sound level caused by the estimated GG colleagues Petra IO in their Rock Mills report would have been better than the building site noise by high guests; The ambience of the various guest rooms ranges from original to industrial design; we had a table in the original area and I forgive three and a half stars. Service: Above all a lady looked at us: not excessively friendly, not excessively fleeting, not excessively attentive and not excessively familiar with the contents of the menus; overall rather indifferent. We had more attention and also had the opportunity to speak briefly with him several times. Food and drink: We had already informed ourselves at home about the internet and the Rock Mill HP about what kitchen and cellar offer. My treasure had even chosen a dish: the potato soup with cherry pancakes. one day we were too early. It would have been the morning meal; dasa today filled with bacon cream sauce and sauerkraut for EUR 9.50. So something else had to be done, both ordered the beef broth with beef and Julienne vegetables 5.40 EUR each. Madame took the Rumpsteak Madagascar with Pommes Frites (22,90 EUR); I chose the Devil Medallions; three pork fillet medallions doubled with chilibacon in pikanter sauce with fries for EUR 16,90. When Dessert had ordered my favorite Crême Brûlée; This was no longer possible after the kitchen (for whatever reason, Pannacotta was offered with fruits at the price of EUR 6.90. This was accepted and I took a Williams Gold (2cl EUR 3.50 as dessert. We drank a swollen mineral water (EUR 2.40 and a Franciscan wheat from the barrel (EUR 0.5l 4.40). Among the few open wines I had unfortunately not found that for mch past; a pity. We were very happy with both the soup and the main dishes. My wife had ordered the Rumpsteak medium; it rarely came, which was not a leg break. The meat quality was excellent, the steak was very well cut and the pommes were very crispy. There was nothing to complain about my diabolical medallions; they were still beautiful pink inside. The sauce announced as a picant was witty pikant; I would have been happy not only if I had a strip of Chilibacon, but one per medallion, i.e. a total of three on the plate. I was happy with the Pannacotta, and I was happy with the Williams Gold. Conclusion: The stay in the rock mill would have liked us even better without the building site noises! Good to see you again."

"We were in the hotel as a family of four. Unfortunately we got checked in on the arrival day after a long waiting period since no one was on site fortunately a craftsman could reach the owner) that you can not offer breakfast, we accepted that and went to the nearby EDEKA in the morning. Unfortunately it is not taken with cleanliness in the hotel so exact room cleaning was cleaned once after complaint. You couldn't find out even when checking out, so we just had to drop the keys at the reception. The paths to the hotel room were always very well served."

"Visited on 17.10.2014 General/Ambiente The “Schlupfwinkel” is a popular daytrip with approx. 100 seats in the 3 original interiors and approx. 100 seats on the two outdoor terraces. Very popular is the inn also at Bikern, which meet here in beautiful weather every Tuesday from 17:00 onwards. Unfortunately, the access to the local area is somewhat adventurous, the access road of St.Wendel, the “Wurzelbacher Weg” is not particularly car-friendly, the narrow road sown with percussions is rather a field path. Once you arrive at the inn you will find enough parking spaces. Since 1978, the excursion hall has been run by Wilma, the “oldest host” of St.Wendels. In addition to a daily changing dinner at moderate prices from €3.30 for a “Worschtbriehsupp” to €8.60 for a menu “Suppe and Schaales with Apple Muse”, the slip angle offers a well-tuned menu with petty-bourgeois dishes such as schnitzel, steak, chickens and a selection of snacks and pizzas. Much praised and also the reason for my visit today are Wilmas chickens. But so much before: today I was rather disappointed. Service Usually, a service team from young waiters is friendly, flotted and attentively served in the “sleeping angle”. Even today I could not complain about the service at the table. However, I had to wait a long time for an operation. When entering the guest room, I nodded the gentleman behind the counter and took space in the side room. Here I waited approx. 10 minutes for an operation. Why the Theker didn't send me the service, I can only guess, maybe he was overwhelmed with the beer pin or just distracted by talking to the guests at the counter. So I changed the seat and noticed me right at the waitress. From there it worked again with the service. 4 stars for the young lady, 1 star for the cartridge behind the vault makes swelling 3 stars. Eat I ordered a 1⁄2 chicken with supplement salad at 8,80 € and a mineral water at 1,70 € The supplement salad came shortly after the drink. A fresh leaf salad with acceptable vinegar/oil dressing and self-made carrot and herb salad, unfortunately served almost without love in a small plate. The chicken was served with two slices of baguette. As mentioned above, this pod was not a revelation. There are many ways to prepare a chicken, the best I find is the preparation in the grill with spine, followed by the oven, or even better in the convectomat. In the slip angle, the bath has been placed on the hot oil for years. There are the most beautiful frituses that automatically lower the chicken and release it from the bathroom after the time it was introduced, but a few minutes too long can already add enormously to the poor chicken – just like the bird that was served me. To the middle, the flesh was dry to fibrous under the skin. Unfortunately, the skin was not as loosely crispy as usual and also the very good marinade had lost a lot of taste. So this chicken came on average, not bad, but also not very good. OK and 3 stars In the slip angle there are chickens every day.... but in my opinion not the best. The competition does not sleep, see my reviews about the restaurants “Bistro Insel” in St. Wendel or “Wolfsborner Hof” in Herchweiler."

"We were already more often in the house gudesberg! eating is tasteful of the hammer, I had never experienced such taste explosions! the dishes are very loving and decorated. beautiful ambiente with great view of the city!Also the personal is very nice and accommodating! the prizes are a bit higher, but these are also worth the dishes!"
