"I'm SO disappointed with the lack of respect from delivery man John at Waldos, our first time ordering today with some coworkers here in North Riverside. Delivery took an hour, and we just asked for a sausage and pepperoni pizza, and some garlic bread. What was so appalling was the service we received. We tipped the driver and once we took our pie to the office to eat together, we saw he must have dropped it or driven recklessly. See picture below. What could have been a simple mistake seems much deeper than that, because when we called to speak to the owner who answered to the best of his ability, we quickly received a call back from the delivery driver on a personal cellphone calling us liars and insulting our place of work. We took a picture to send to the owners cell phone, and were told we could get credit for the next delivery. I'm scared to order here now especially if an employee with a temper is delivering, not only does it not make me feel safe (why is he calling us aggressively on a personal cell?! it makes me just imagine what he would be capable of doing to our food for the next delivery. I'm really disappointed in this place, which other people have recommended due to the taste, only to have this happen. We have cameras here at our business, it's sad that the delivery driver took offense when we called out what might have just been a simple accident on his end, instead making it very clear he just doesn't care about his job and must have dropped it or driven recklessly. So upsetting to get this service from a place such as Waldos, I'd expect it from a large tasteless chain. For that, I can only give it one star."
