"This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. She said this is where locals go to eat seafood any place else you’ll get overcharged and all the food is good. She was right! It is not fancy just a local dinner with booths and paper mats with ads on the table. But I had the lobster dinner and it was excellent! And it was about half the cost of what I’d pay in the states. It came with the clam chowder which my husband and I both thought was very good. He had the chicken brochette with lemon potatoes (yum) and loved it. If you’re looking for good food, this is it. If you’re looking for fancy, go someplace else."

"Pizza is really good. The ceaser salad seemed to have been missing some key ingredients. This place has potential but needs a little TLC in the decor department. The dining room seemed to double as a storage area. The atmosphere just seemed off. It doesn't prent itself well IMO. I'd consider visiting again if I were to see changes."

"My son and I visited today and had delicious and fresh burritos with warm chips and cheese. The only issue I had was at the cash register. Our total was $27.10, so I handed the young man $40.00 and then tried to give him a dime, to make it an easy $13.00 change. I know what it's like to work with a float and run out of change. He kept telling me that I gave him $40.00. I explained in a couple different ways why I was giving him the dime. He took it and proceeded to give me back $12.90. At that point, I was out 20¢ but a line was forming so we left, confused, hence the 4/5 rating. Again the food was fresh and we enjoyed it. Highly recommended."

"I remember when this place was reasonable but the prices have creaped to be one of the most expensive Indian restaurants in Halifax. The food is good though. It is always good to call ahead because their schedule is very sketch. We have gone downtown no fewer than 5 times to find out that they were closed or that they were not firing the tandoor because it was too hot outside."
