"We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and have been impressed with the variety on the menu and quality of food. This was our first visit since it changed hands and I am sorry to say it underwhelmed. Firstly the room temperature...was seriously cold to the point that my elderly parents had to don their coats in spite of being dressed appropriately for time of year. However the lady serving did notice and provided a portable heater close to our table. Starters and main dishes were well prepared though portion size is too large and would give rise to considerable food waste. Unfortunately the chef managed to render all of the veg inedible. Red cabbage so drowned in the most acidic vinegar it made your eyes run. Carrots were shrivelled and mushy on the inside and kale barely cooked at all. You would do well to pay closer attention to the details . As birthday lunches go it was a bit of a damp squib."
