"The staff is very friendly. Restaurant does not accept reservations, but you can join a waiting list. You have a waiting area next door. "The place is nice and clean but the prices for what you get is pretty wild. I took myself out to lunch and somehow spent $70. I don’t have a huge appetite so it was pretty unreal. I ordered the salmon salad and the spicy salmon roll. I was disappointed to find that they both were made with ground salmon and not a fresh slice of fish. The salmon salad is just a plate with a little bit of ground salmon. I ended up asking for lettuce. I assumed it was like the pictured salad with lettuce and pieces of different types of fish. I had the shumai which were four little pieces the size of dice, they were good. And two steamed mussels. They were tasty but had a lot of crunch. I had two ahsihi with the whole meal and that jumped it up another $15. Also, they add their own gratuity. Overall, I didn’t feel like I got to eat any sushi and I paid way more than if I’d just gone next door to harvest market for a beer and some sushi. I won’t be back."

"I had the Omakase on 2/10/24. It was, without a doubt, the best dining experience I have had in years. Ken is an expert and extremely gracious host. His knowledge and explanation of the dishes as well as the casual and extremely enjoyable conversation made this a dinner to remember.This was my first visit to Ishi Kaori and I have already told my friends about it. We are currently checking our calendars for future months in hopes of another experience. I hope to come back soon for the regular menu, as well as another Omakase."

"I'm only giving it 2-stars because the employees I had when I was taking out were lovely people. However, the food is mediocre, but the food for the price it's just bad. It really doesn't taste good, its not enjoyable, and if it didn't cost me $15 for a bowl I would have thrown it out."
