"Great experience, ambience food! Wanted to take the family from the state to try tex-mex food, and that was absolutely the right place. The place was beautiful and modern and has a cute terrace perfect for a autumn night. Your hours vary by day, so make sure to check online before you go. We went the day before Thanksgiving, expected a long wait, but we just had to wait for a few minutes. Directly away you are greeted with huge baskets of tortilla chips / totadas / totopos and an amazing tasting salsa. The salsa was not sharp at all and I would say it is child-friendly. The menu was simple, but had a variety to choose from meat to seafood it had something for everyone. Most plates come with beans and Spanish rice. I finished the order from the Appetizer menu, which was more than enough for a person. I'll say... This is not an authentic Mexican food that is this refined Tex-Mex food, so please note that most of your foods are anglicized. The servers and waiters went beyond and beyond to accompany us all, although it was later the day. I really appreciated the service and the great attitude of all those involved. Make yourself a favor and try this place the next time you have family over or need a date night"

"I ate at Cafe Rustica this weekend. I ordered the Wood Oven Baked Rigatoni with mushrooms, beef bolognese sauce and parmesan cheese. After just a few bites I gave up eating what I can only describe as a disgusting dish. The dish had a skin of dried out baked parmesan cheese and congealed sauce. The pieces of meat and mushroom where minuscule in what only could be described as gravy – in no way a bolognese sauce. The pasta was way overlooked. There is no way I would consider eating there again or recommending it to anyone."

"My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding by traveling to Monterrey where we went 20 years ago. We went to Georis on both trips and it is a highlight. Great building, outdoor seating and some of the best wine you will taste in Carmel Valley."

"Roux welcome my husband and our young boys pleasantly with a high chair but that is the extent of the “family friendly” nature. We ordered plain fries (clearly from frozen) and $29 pasta for them as there isn’t a kids menu. My Coke was flat. The food was simple and overpriced. The patio is really nice and inviting and the service was friendly though slow. The scallops were nicely done and the French onion soup was decadent. Definitely some hits and misses."
