"Have been here four times and it's always been incredible. In fact, the food seems to only get better each time we go. The owners are personable and talented! The sashimi course is guaranteed to be delicious, and the wagyu with truffle sauce is a rare constant on the shifting seasonal menu I'm always happy to see arrive.It's a real gem in Old Town, Alexandria."

"I tried Smoking Kow for the first time yesterday (5/11/2022), and I must say that I was pleased! I had the family of 4 platter which included the baby back ribs, brisket, collard greens, baked beans, and the creamy garlic jalapeño mac cheese. Everything was tasty! My only complaint (if any, and I’m not deducting any stars) was that the portions were almost not enough to feed 3 adults, but we made it work!"

"This place is top notch. We came here around 9:30 right before closing and we received such great hospitality. The place is super cozy and has a wonderful vibe. The food was so flavorful, I had the chicken curry and my girlfriend had the tikka masala, and we highly recommend this place. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Thanks you guys for making our stay in Alexandria so great."

"First time visiting this Roy Rogers since the major fire that struck the Belle View shopping center where it is located. It amazing how the layout has changed from the original layout. The place looks well maintained and very clean it's evident that the employees promote a caring culture The Famous Roy Rogers Roast Beef sandwich is still great to eat. There is a lot of local residents that patronize this location everyday. Good cheap eats that fill your belly. Roy Rogers Fried chicken is awesome as well. Next time there try one of their small fresh garden salad ad well. See yah again."

"Four of us had a Restaurant Week dinner that included shared appetizers, entrees (salmon, pork and chicken dishes) and shared desserts. The food was very good and so was the wine and drinks list. Our waiter was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and overall hospitality of City Kitchen. We will certainly return!"
