"Great Harvest has turned into my go-to sandwich spot in Anchorage. There is nothing particularly exotic about any of the sandwiches. This is your typical roast beef and provolone, turkey and swiss kind of place. But the quality is what counts here. The sandwiches are consistently fresh and delicious, and the best part is after you order and while you wait, they offer you a slice of complimentary bread. I usually go with the cinnamon raisin, which is good enough by itself, but when butter is applied, it somehow gets even better. I suspect the complimentary bread is day-old bread which they are just trying to get rid of. Same goes for the hardening cookie they throw inside your sandwich bag. But it's all good. The turnaround time is usually quick. Even when the line is long I haven't waited more than 5 minutes to order. After placing my order, I haven't waited more than 10 minutes to receive. My only knock is the drink selection. It's not great. They could really benefit by offering some homemade iced tea or lemonade. Everything they sell is bottled. Be sure to inquire about the stamp card. I did not discover this until about my 10th visit, at which time I would have been entitled to a free sandwich. They don't advertise it, so ask."

"The food here was really good the only reason I give them a 4 instead of a 5 is it took quite awhile to get our food but it seemed to all be freshly made which is a plus! Me and my friends walked away very satisfied and full! Would recommend but maybe call your order in."

"Never again. they have good food. there were many. once dripping water from the hanging plants on our table. once bloomed fleee around the hanging plants. I've still gone. but the murderer was. on Monday to midday, they said no lunch specialties. only dinner menu. all lunches were available, but only at higher dinner prices. Why? I didn't have to ask. afn (alaska federation of natives) was in the city. kumagoro has visited our guests."

"I chose Crush on our recent trip to Anchorage because a local friend recommended it, and I'm so glad I did! We called ahead to make a reservation, which turned out to be wise because just after we sat down the restaurant filled up.The Crispy Brussels were AMAZING! We also enjoyed the salmon, the Pad Thai and the fry bread. Three of us split the Baked Alaska, which was also very good, although the cake at the bottom was a bit too solid.The service was fine and we could easily hear each other. I'd gladly go here again."

"We came to this restaurant because it says on google they offer dine in which was not the case, all orders must be for to go. We ordered 2 gyro plates which were $15 each (which i don’t mind paying so much for some good greek food) they came with a greek salad and some potatoes(pretty bland). Overall the food was mediocre and truly nothing to rave about unfortunately. It’s sad when you expect a fresh gyro and instead hear the microwave being slammed and the buzzer going off. The greek coffee i wanted to try because i read previous reviews about how delicious it was and whatnot, absolutely not. The smell was very off putting and i couldn’t even drink more than a sip. So overall not impressed."

"Hadn 't eaten here in eight years until a recent lunch. Previously, I was offended by the bums-rush service and underwhelmed by the food. A few days ago, I ordered the Pad Thai. The restaurant specializes in Vietnamese food, so ordering Thai was probably unwise. The Pad Thai consisted of a generous portion of noodles in a soupy sauce, slices of pork, at most two chopped peanuts, an eighth of a lime, and no greens of any kind. Not recommended. The Mongolian beef that my friend had looked better. The service was brusque. My lunch was served about 15 minutes before my friend received his lunch, so I had to choose between finishing before he began, or eating my lunch cold. Stick to the pho would be my advice."

"Have been stopping here before running my errands and have never been disappointed. The girls are always super polite and make whatever weird creations I ask them to. "We went here for my birthday as I have heard so many times that this is one of the best restaurants in town. Honestly, I was not that impressed. The calamari, bread, crab stuffed halibut, hamburger, and drinks were pretty good. Good, but not great. The prime rib was stringy, bordering on inedible, the crab and artichoke dip was barely warm, the pasta was overcooked, etc. I was really expecting more from this place, especiallyfor the price. The service was good and there was a free piece of cake for my birthday so.. there's that anyway. I would have given 2 stars but the waitress really was nice and tried to make it a special night. I won't be back unless someone else is paying. There are just too many restaurants downtown that have better food and better prices."
