"We hooked rather short notice for a party of 10, but they squeezed us in I am so glad they did. The food is amazing! The staff are so friendly and dead chatty. We got 4 starters to share amongst us all plates cleared enjoyed by all, especially the Tia Rose. We all got different mains every single one had no complaints. Absolutely beautiful, ever so tasty flavoursome. Will definitely be back"

"The restaurant did not have our booking despite confirmation email from opentable that the booking was made. fortunately they had enough space and went on to offer great service and eat for a fairly large group. important to get the reservation right!"

"Disappointing. The menu and the ethos of 17 is great, but they don’t deliver. The waitress had no idea of the main components of the dishes, and just poured the wine for all without giving a taster and asking if it was OK. Much of the ingredients were not fresh and presentation was non existent (each plate came with a sprig of water cress). A pity, because if they trained their staff and the chef put some effort in, it would be good. For the money charged, go to Course and really get your money’s worth and a really good dinner."

"This is one of our favourite restaurants ever. The food is out of this world with something for everyone and soooooo tasty. The atmosphere/ambience is relaxing, the deco is great and the staff are really helpful and friendly. We've been twice in the last ten days and will definitely be back."

"Not like it used to be. I used to absolutely love lebaneat and order all the time at work and home. Tonight decided to place an order for 2 wraps, both arrived with added salad despite never receiving salad on any previous orders or mention if this on the menu. Salad is great when it's not added to a wrap and hot. The halloumi and falafel wrap arrived soggy and inedible. With undercooked chips. The other wrap also arrived with salad inside, it was eaten but not as nice as it should have been as it was soggy. Waste of money and I'll not be ordering again."

"I've been going to Spags for years and pre veganism, I always got one of two things salmon fettuccini or vegetable lasagne. Very occasionally I would get the beetroot ravioli, which was very nice and also marked as vegan. I recently went back for my first time since making the switch and the beetroot ravioli is GONE! It's a shame because the pasta dishes are really quite basic arrabiata, or ortolana which is basically just another tomato sauce with some peppers and onions in. I did ask for chilli to be added and let me tell you, they were generous with the chillis! It was very nice but I would have preferred something that wasn't really similar to the sort of pasta I'd make at home. I'll continue to return to Spags because it's such a reliable place for a nice, filling meal. But I do hope on the future that they consider adding something a bit sexier to the pasta dishes."
