"I'll be honest - I didn't really want to dine here last night, and I had very low expectations - my experiences with "oriental buffet" haven't been very positive.But my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here - "all you can eat buffet" for 10.90€ - last night.I don't eat fish, but my wife enjoyed the sushi - she's no expert in these matters, but she said it was the best she'd ever had.I went "chinese" - not the largest spread I've ever seen, but a fair range of different flavours, hot, well-cooked and quickly replenished. Some fresh fruit, jelly, or fruit cocktail to finish and all was well.It's a large place, with a lot of inside seating as well an an outside area with a great view - it was too cool (yes, in late June) to eat outside, but I presume in better weather that's possible and would be most pleasant.All the staff were very friendly, which is often not the case in places such as these, which was refreshing. And, to top it all off, as well as the "usual suspects" at the bottom of the wine tree, they had some decent quality offerings too.A great place for "different" food in Portalegre, at last - we'll be back."

"My wife and I had lunch here last week. The outdoor terrace looked attractive after a long trip. Unfortunately, our dinning experience did not live the expectations. The waiter/owner was unscrupulous and somewhat abrupt and the food matched his appearance, maybe we called... a bad day. Anyway, I had fried chicken, some of the little pieces were very boiled and others were pink against the bone. Of the pieces I ate, all were coarsely chopped (hacked) and had sharp ligaments of the bone. My wife had Bacalhao a bra that was cold and rocky. The 1/2li House White was hardly the quality we used in Portugal. I didn't complain, I was just relieved to get away from the place."

"It is a great place to eat, the food is great and the service was pretty good. I can't say it's bad because I'm a vegetarian, I don't have much to eat, but that's not her fault. There's vegetarian sushi, but it's really fast, so I really have to wait a long time. However, this is completely normal as it is not a vegetarian restaurant. I loved the fact that you can get your own ingredients and bring them to a cook that weeps them for you. There was only one thing that felt a bit unhappy. After dinner I paid my meal and a few children (they seemed to be out of the restaurant) eat the food from the buffet with their own hands. I recommend it not-vegetarians tho"
