"Wir waren pünktlich um 17 Uhr vor Ort, ab 17.30 Uhr ist warme Küche. Da wir die ersten Gäste waren wurde pünktlich bestellt und es kam auch schnell und gut heiß am Tisch an. Das war geschmacklich ordentlich, bis auf die Spätzle die zu scharf waren und schön angerichtet.Negativ war aber das unser Sohn, 4 Jahre, eine Kinderportion Käsespätzle bestellt hat, bzw.wir für ihn, die mit 9,50 € also wie eine Seniorportion, nur 1,50€ unter dem regulären Preis, berechnet wurde und nicht geschmeckt hat. Eine Kinderportion Spätzle mit Rahmsoße dagegen kostet nichts.(1.Portion ist laut Karte gratis). Das ist doch etwas überzogen.Dann mussten wir während des Essens zwei Hunde ertragen und das ist für uns ein absolutes Tabu, besonders wenn ein offenes Salatbuffet angeboten wird, dann sollte nicht am Tisch daneben ein Hund liegen. Mir erscheint das Ambiente zu tierfreundlich, wurde doch sofort für den Vierbeiner was zu Saufen gebracht, was er dann unter dem Tisch wegschlappte. Das Wasser bezahlen dann anscheinend die Besucher mit Kindern, siehe Käsespätzle. Es gibt einen Spielkeller für Kinder, das ist positiv, vielleicht sollte man sowas für Hunde anbieten. Außerdem mussten wir während des Essens unseren Tisch an eine andere Stelle platzieren, da eine angemeldete Gruppe spontan mit mehr Gästen kam als erwartet. SUPRISE !!!Der Kellner erschien mir am Schluss etwas überfordert, da neben dem Hauptgeschäft auch noch eine Geburtstagsgesellschaft da war."

"Have been there on several occasions (as I live in Pfronten) and I have to say that the hotel/restuarant is pretty exceptional! The food is always delicious, albeit a little expensive, but well worth the dollar. There are always several courses and the wine is "ganz lecker" (very tasty)! After eating there is a sort of sitting area near the fire where the whole group (or even just a couple) can sit and enjoy another glass of wine, champagne, or schnapps. If any of you are in Pfronten, I totally recommend this place. Breakfasts are good too. A large vareity of food (including Bacon, which I absolutely adored) and you can read the morning news in English if you so wish. The entire staff speaks english (or so I am told) and they are friendly!"

"We usually make a short stop here when we go to the mountain. I like the breast roast so much. Drinks can be ordered at the table, eating is self-service. around 12 clock they can come, reservation is not possible. be good. but we haven't tested this yet. if they are also worth visiting the church around the corner."
