"We really enjoyed the Pizza and refreshments at Southpaw. When we got there they were super busy and told us it would take a while. There are lots of TVs. We were cheering for the Broncos, which help pass the time. We had some good beer and wine. They have wood slab tables, very attractive. When the pizza, Bulldog, arrived it was delicious and worth the wait. The service was very good. It was noisy, which they are going to try to work on. We think this is a great addition to North Albany and will be going back to try another pizza!"

"The place is interesting I'll try and explain. So the burger is good and if that's what you want is a quality burger then this will meet or meat your needs. Now if you want table side service then you might look elsewhere because this is an order at the counter establishment. The odd thing was how the hostess taking orders appeared completely overwhelmed and stressed and it was really being felt by the customer even though there were only 18 customers in the place and 4 people in the line. Not exactly stress making busy so that was odd, the lady tending tables appeared to be easily handling the work and we had good service from her. So the service was fine but a bit odd at the order and the food was good to even better than average and the place was clean."

"Have they ever been getting a raw pizza? No? I don't, either, until I order from here. the middle pizza was completely smokey, not even close. it didn't even look, so I'm not sure how someone thought it was ready to stack and send. the calzon was also completely drying and had not even the right ingredients. I ordered one of their menu items, no custom request, and only one of the 5 to 6 items was correct. I don't think there's one here."

"OMG! This was the best breakfast I've had in a while dining out. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potato pancakes and as usual, an ice tea. My breakfast was hot, my toast was well buttered, I ordered the potato pancakes well done and they were amazing! Plus, on top of all that goodness, our waitress was outstandingly fabulous!! She got all the orders correct and perfect, but most of all, I got like 4 refills on my tea!!!!! (Usually I get 1) She was amazing!!! I left a good tip but had I had more money to give, this girl would have gotten it for sure. I'll check my receipt tonight and see if her name is on it as our server. I'd love to give her mad props!! Highly recommend Elmer's in Albany."
