"We are regulars at Kinnaree because of the fantastic flavors and creative dishes. I would highly recommend the Prawn Tacos and new Prawn Shooters!My partner had the yellow curry and spring rolls, and they were delicious as well.The service is always excellent; the staff very friendly.Highly recommend!!"

"We had been out for the morning and decided to get some burgers for a late lunch. The extensive listing of types of burgers does take some time to digest and make your selection. We chose the basic steak burger and had some of their lovely chips. The Order arrived in a timely manner and there were many orders ahead and after ours. Within the 15 minutes wait time the burgers arrived wrapped in recycled boxes and the chips wrapped in paper. Our short drive home did not make the burgers soggy these were quickly devoured, and the buns were fresh and the burger on a whole was very tasty. Will be adding this to our list of fast food."

"Once again we celebrated Mothers Day at Scoopies. It seems to be becoming a tradition. This visit wasn't so happy as the last one described though, for me anyway. The Coeliac (gluten free) Mother.Family group ordered and received their orders - all looking delicious, quickly and politely delivered. Me, I ordered the Gluten Free fish in foil along with the usual chips and salad. The fish arrived - I was so busy talking with family at first no alarms bells went off. I ate some of the fish and then noticed the residue on the outside of my fish...from leftover gluten filled batter etc on the grill. Enquiries to the staff confirmed my suspicion that the fish hadn't been cooked in foil as requested. Back it went and I waited while everyone else ate their lunches. My new order arrived, with the polite staff, I thanked them and tucked in. The fish was still raw in the middle but I was so hungry by then that I ate all the "cooked" bits.Difficult not to make a scene and get angry at your own Mothers Day celebration surrounded by well meaning family, some of whom don't understand the meaning of gluten free. If I eat gluten the result is pain, diarrhea and days of debilitating lethargy, unable to go to work or function properly. None of this known to the people who carelessly provided me with a tainted meal."

"We've been going to another seafood shop on Bribie for a lot of years, it's been getting a bit ho hum We saw this one and gave it a go. I placed our order and it took very little time and it was ready. There were a reasonable number of customers around so I was pleasantly surprised with the speed in which it order was ready. We were NOT disappointed. The food was beautiful and the portions were huge.... too much for us to eat in fact. We will definitely be back."

"Over the years this hotel has undergone a number of transformations.The recent one has made the dining/function area comfortable and attractive.The Caravan theme(half a deconstructed old van) with historical photos brings back memories for all who have used Bribie Island as a holiday destination.We had a set meal package and some last minute changes were handled with calm courteous efficiency by the management and staff.A real credit to the manager.The airconditioned area gives you a nice view of the channel and the bridge.The gaming room and public bar are far enough away to be unnoticeable and even further away from the children's play area/room (which is viewable from the dining area).Definitly some thought has gone into making this hotel an all round family meeting place."
