"Giving Chipotle, Gentle Ben's, and Frog a run for their money, keep it up, beautiful spot on university! Huge bar upstairs and food served late. This place has the best happy hour on University and it is typically not packed during those hours. Their up stairs seating isn't particularly comfortable but the food and drinks are fantastic! Their balcony is a lot of fun for people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather."

"The staff, the food.This place is the bomb.Right from the beginning they asked if we wanted drinks whole we waited told us it would be 30 minutes.they seated us after 10min. The margaritas were off the hook Good! So good you sipped them.When the food came my girlfriend who had ordered a chimichanga which I think is a silly thing. But I must tell you this was remarkable. Everything was fantastic. This is definitely on the list. It's one of the best restaurants in Tucson."

"I recently became familiar with Rubio’s through Door Dash. I was looking for a healthy meal since I’d recently changed my eating habits. DD recommended them because they offer a vegetarian options. Plus they had a 4.9 rating so I went ahead and gave them a try. The Cilantro Lime Quinoa Bowl with grilled veggies is excellent! I’ve never been a fan of nuts in my food but Rubio’s has changed my mind. I’d give them a 5 but portion size and pricing needs to be re-evaluated. I’ve ordered from here twice paid for extra grilled veggies and the bowl was still skimpy. Unfortunately after eating the bowl I was not full. The pictures I’ve attached are the bowl with extra veggies."

"Service was great. Our waitress was phenomenal!Food was subpar. I ordered the Chicken Bowl and it had a dried ball of ground beef in it. That’s cross contamination! The waitress apologized and informed the cook as well as the manager.The manager nor the cook came to apologize which is totally unacceptable! I paid for our meal yet will never patronize this Chili’s again.If something is not properly prepared an apology should be given but that was not the case. I actually saw the cook come out and give another party their food due to an error on his part. And of course he didn’t even acknowledge our table and he was well aware of his error!"

"This place is super cool with its colorful aesthetic, the Sombrero lamps, and Mexican heritage art and decor. Came here twice and the main thing that kept bringing us back honestly is that table side salsa they make in a mortar and pestle fashion. The smokey grilled jalapeno they grind in with the tomato, cilantro, onion, and other ingredients is delicious and unique. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Their table side guacamole is also good but not a must try for me. They do have a big menu to choose from. The margaritas are good too and served in a jumbo glass, so plan accordingly haha. First time we sat at the bar area which is a good elevated spot from where to look out over the entire restaurant but service is a little slow since the bar and bar area tables are mainly serviced by 1 or 2 bartenders and on a busy night they were understandably stretched thin. We were still taken care of though. Second time we grabbed a table and service was much faster."
