"Always raved about Samsons but sadly had the worst piece of fish ever tonight. Fish has always been white and fluffy in appearance, juicy and devine but tonights was grey, thin and dry as a chip. My friends was the same. It's a pity, doesn't take long to turn people away."

"Had the seafood basket and really enjoyed everything in it. Light and fresh with options for battered or crumbed on pretty much everything. The food is very good, but what got us over the line to an 'excellent' rating was the cleanliness and customer service. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Lovely little find in Birkdale."

"We have been visiting this Takeaway for about 20 years and have always found the food and service to be excellent. Tonight I ordered two pieces of grilled Sea Perch, paid for two and got three - beautifully cooked and just at the "Melt in the mouth stage." Yum! The hamburgers also are fantastic value for money and they taste great as well.Will we be back for more - count on it!"

"From here I had a farewell: 0/5Prawn tost: hardly editable. taste more of brat oil than the garnel or toast meat spring rolls: barely meat, much cauliflower. the chief criminal was the amazed (short) suppe. the half of the size of the offer in other restaurants (for a smaller price also;) without doubt the worst amazed suppe I had ever. no veggies, all sommes were cleaved, two small, non-identifiable pieces of meat and one non-descriptive consisted. the woodsuppen spoon, which could hardly keep a reasonable amount of suppe essentially a paddle, made for a tasteful escape of taste in comparison to the basic of suppe, not to mention the bizarre cuts of meat in the food stuffed. they save their money, go to mickey d’s near. the one star is for the good service and unique experience of this eating."

"I've been walking and came a couple of weeks ago about manny. the restaurant is always full. the atmosphere is great. I decided to try it for myself. I was a couple times. the foods are consistent the portion sizes are generous. the aromen are fantastic and for Italian cuisine it is not exaggerated by garlic or crumble. there is something amazing eating and I would recommend this restaurant 110%. the personal is also amazing and very friendly. vegetarian options: there are vegetarian and gluten-free options on Manny,s menu parking: there are many parking spaces in front of and behind manny’s"

"The restaurant was highly recommended, but unfortunately, we had a few incidents, which spoilt our visit. One of the group tripped on a traffic bollard at the entry, damaging her shoe. We noticed others arriving, tripping on the same obstruction! Something needs to be done about it before there is a major accident because of it. We were seated inside, on our request, and asked that the ceiling fan above us be turned off. This never happened, although the waitress said she would see to it. Coffees were ordered for each of us, and 3 of the 5 were barely luke warm. Not a good start. No water was brought to the table, despite there being water glasses provided!We ordered our food, and agree that the menu is great, and the meal portions very good. One order was wrong, but we chose to say nothing at the time, but did advise the waitress on paying. No adjustment was offered to the cost! There seemed to be an unusually long wait for our meals, but the food was served and prepared well, and was good."
