".We didn't get round to eating as the service was so poor. We arrived to darkness some lights were turned on when we arrived. After quite a while a waitress came to take drink orders for four. After taking two of our choices she scuttled off back behind the bar to pour a drink for someone who had just arrived. When asked if we could order drinks for the other two people the waitress was quite rude so we left."

When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim. "We went for a long walk today and came across this very lovely restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to a lovely table overlooking the hills. There was not even a batting of an eye by staff as we had a back pack and...dressed for hiking. Our meal was exquisite as I started with a delicious venison consommé followed by seasonal roast goose with dumplings and red cabbage. My partner in crime started with a cream of pumpkin soup followed by a very delicious maultasschen A very high standard of service was shown to us and a very beautiful space for lunch as well If you are out hiking stop by you will not be disappointed"
