"We recently found this place and absolutely love it. Starting with cocktails: seriously the best Old Fashioned in the UK. "Received an afternoon tea gift voucher from my wife for my 50th birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the House itself is simply stunning. We had a walk around the grounds after our lunch and enjoyed the wonderfully maintained gardens and sculptures. I’m guessing it’s not cheap so not something we could do often (though we would like to! , but as a special gift for a loved one I would highly recommend it."

"Fantastic, small, local Italian restaurant. Pizzas and pasta both very much enjoyed by all in our party of 8 (kids and adults), and the puddings were delicious too. Particularly recommend the tartufo pistacchio! Will definitely come again. Mille grazie! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available for up to age 9. Includes main (choice of 3 pasta dishes, pizza or nuggets), drink and ice cream. Portion was a good size for the 6 yr old in our party. Staff were accommodating and interacted with the kids. No activity sheets provided as the bigger chain restaurants do, but we had come prepared with activities anyway!"

"Decent plant based specials (burger and salad) for me and the wife. Shame they appear to be specials and not on the permanent menu. They seem to have mastered plant based now previously this place lacked any non meat options, and the vegan burger they used to have we so greasy it left a bad feeling the stomach."
