"I went with my mum for a dessert and coffee after my mum's doctors appointment but had a bad encounter with the waiter. He was very abrupt and didn't seem at all welcoming. I asked if it was okay to sit at the empty table. He said it was okay. Then when I asked for the menu he just came to get the order. I told him I wanted the dessert menu he wasn't too happy and told me that he thought we were going to eat a meal. Then finally brought over the banana cake and coffee and told us we only had half an hour when our table wasn't reserved. I was very unhappy paying my money for such a service. My mum didn't deserve all this."

"Five of us booked for an evening meal. We had a mix of Thai, pizzas and English food. The service was excellent and all the food delicious. We had a bit left over all nicely packaged in doggie boxes. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. We’ll be back!"

"I 've been ordering regularly from New Standard Tandoori since I moved here from London, 13 years ago. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner deejay 's everywhere and we really love curries, so we get to try alot of tandoori 's across the UK but genuinely, the Dragon Paneer from NST is my favourite ever (thank me later)!! Yummy Lovely authentic food and a lovely family business. Will always recommend. *Update* 20.11.22 Tried their new paneer starter this evening 'Paneer 65 ' STUNNING!!!"

"My own and my wife came to the late lunch today and were so pleasantly surprised. Pub food, especially from a chain can sometimes be hit or miss, this was a hit today. some golden scampi boiled perfectly and a very tasty juvenile yoghurt. the afternoon is very nice and we will be back for more. the employee who served us seemed a little annoying, but was a very pleasant young guy. I suspect that the chef might have been manager when he fought with a card payment to tap them, she came to his help and was also very pleasant, I think I caught her name as a chew."

"Here with my partner after the england Germany game made an evening meal. the staff was incredibly friendly and friendly. the Indian food was phenomenal and made from ground on, I had the lamb chops and keema naan and my partner had the corma and an olive naan. all were recommended by the staff and they were on site! can not stress how beautiful the employees were, the family, the pub and the new member who had been there only one week. will come back!"
