"Sorry for the 4 stars in my first review. Yous we're closed when I showed up n drove 2 hours , lol. Was a little triggered. ? You got great seafood, fresher n larger . Recipes too. I used them but always try to kick them up a notch. My guest love it. Prices are reasonable. N if I'm lucky I show up when you have a sample or two out. Keep up the good work, ?"

"Jonas Seafood never disappoints. It's hard to hit a mid-western sunset overlooking the Illinois River and the skyline of the town of Peoria. I come here regularly in the last few decades for lunch or dinner, and the quality of the food, paired with an attentive staff, was always consistently brilliant. The atmosphere was always pleasant and the employees do what they can to meet your needs. For lunch today, a colleague of mine and I enjoyed her Louisiana Jambalaya and her deep fried Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp. Remember that Jonas Seafood is freshly flown daily and made to order! The Jambalaya is one of my favorite dishes and the cook always makes it with the right amount of spicy. The shrimp was on the larger side and the dough was well seasoned and thin! I have one side of Au Gratin potatoes along with my Jambalaya these are sweet and cooked to PERFECTION. Never too soft and they finish cooking right at the table served hot. The fried Calamari appetizer we have was not shown. Unfortunately we swore it before I could get a good picture of it! Cudes to the owners, the chefs and the staff for creating and maintaining a relaxing atmosphere with immense food. For anyone who's never been, you're missing. I always see you next time Jonas!"

"We love this place. Never had an issue and if there ever was one, they would resolve it kindly as I have witnessed them replace a mistake or try to resolve a complaint while I was waiting for our food in the past. The flavor is unique to other chicken and we prefer it. The price is right and its made fresh too. Decent staff, polite and helpful."
