"In a sea of food outlets with precooked dishes that sit out all day, this one makes food fresh, which is why we chose to eat here. They do have a selection of already cooked food in chafing dishes, if you're truly in a hurry. We only waited 15 minutes for our food to arrive.

A P179 bowl of sinigang with salmon belly has four 1-in wide slices of salmon belly, some veggies, and a flavorful soup. While the portion felt small protein-wise, we kept it healthy and just upped our consumption of the broth, which is good for two (about 750ml in the bowl). The friendly attendant suggested adding miso to the broth, which we appreciated.

Good hot broth, fresh-tasting salmon belly, decent rice. In SM North's chaotic food court, food and price here are a good match and worth noting. We're earmarking this place for grilled tuna panga (jaw) and tuna tail (buntot).

My phone died while we were here, hence no photos."

"Zipang is a small, hidden Japanese restaurant somewhere in 11th Jamboree, Kamuning. I've been here a couple of times and always see the Japanese chef/owner of this restaurant preparing our meal.

It's a small restaurant that specializes Nagano cuisine, where the chef is from.

We ordered Agedashi Tofu, Mix Furai Teishoku, and Sanzokuyaki Teishoku.

The agedashi tofu was thinly battered and fried to crisp, served with a light soy sauce blend. I like how they do they agedashi with a thin skin of crust thats crispy, combined with the silky, smooth, soft tofu that is perfectly flavored with the sauce and katsuboshi. It was just melting and plating flavors in your tongue.

Sanzokuyaki teishoku was served with miso soup, a vegetable side dish, tuna skin pickle, rice, and the meat. The meat serving was good for 2-3 pax. It's basically marinated fried chicken. The chicken thigh fillets was moist and flavorful. The crispy crust was the bomb. It did remind me of Taiwanese fried chicken fillet, but crispier and tastier. It doesn't have a sauce to accompany it, but its already flavorful by itself.

Zipang means Japan. It'll bring you to how restaurants in Japan are, small, simple, and personalized by the chef. If the chefs out, it's closed.

I have been visiting here for quite sometime and Masashi-san always greet us with a smile and shows the Japanese hospitality.

#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #TheLostDiego"

"Comfort chinese food you will keep on coming back

Went here to try them out since it is hidden. On a saturday lunch, we were the only customers of these restaurant. Tried their live stage, lechon macao, live lapu lapu on soy sauce and hot and sour soup.

Omg. The lapu lapu us worth dying for it was perfect cooked and cook even better than paluto or fancy chinese restaurant. Its really sweet and yummy

Service is also good, but needs to improve on consistency and avoid their kitchen going to dining area to deliver the food from kitchen

Internet is decently fast. Showing abs cbn shows which is a plus for me

I would keep on coming back as long as they cook this way. Want try something else in future.

This establishment does not accept credit card though"
