"I've been here a few times with friends and it is a fabulous little restaurant. The sushi is terrific, there's a great range of choices to suit every taste. My teacup was always full and the service was excellent. I know I'll be returning for their spicy tuna rolls. Yum!"

"We spend August long weekend at Sylvan lake as every year and since our favourite night restaurant Bukwildz was booked we headed here, their sister restaurant. I have to say that this pet friendly place is very good, service was superb, food was delicious. I won?t give 5 starts because the sitting chairs and sofas need attention. I highly recommend this place next time you visit the lake."

"WARNING TO OTHERS! I wasn't going to write a review but given what I have just endured I want to warn others. This was my second time to this Wendy's and the first time was nothing to write home about but I don't expect a lot from a fast food place. This time went way beyond unacceptable! I did not get a receipt either but I have proof I was there from my Visa records. The service was slow and I ordered a Baconator which sat on the counter for some time before it was finally given to me. This was about 5:00 p.m. and I had it for my supper. I brought it home and it was so dry that I had to put extra mayonnaise and ketchup on it, they had put next to none on it. Between 10:00 and midnight last night I was seriously ill. My guts hurt so bad that I thought I was going to black out and the prespiration was running down me from the pain. I was on the verge of phoning an ambulance it was so bad. This was all I had to eat last night so it had to be the hamburger. I'm still not feeling perfect today. This place needs to be checked out by the health department! NEVER AGAIN!"

"I must say the food is always good at Open Range. We started going here years ago every Saturday night because their steak and crab special was When the price went up we started going every other weekend for steak and crab. And then...the price went up again and we went once a month. We went this past weekend only to discover that the steak and crab special is now Unfortunately that is way out of our price range when we have to drive out to Sylvan from Red Deer. We will probably not be returning to open range because of the price of this special which is why we always went!"

"We decided to give Joeys a try after months. Our previous experience wasn't the best. On this occasion some of the staff who had left had returned and the service was much improved. The fish and chips were excellent and really fresh and hot.....If it stays like this we will be back. The tables were full, mid week on a cold Sept early evening."
