"This is a popular fish and chip shop! Once you've tried it you'll understand why it's so busy. The chips are nice and crispy and the flake is a decent size (compared to other fish and chip shops I've gone too. If you're in the Doreen area and in the mood for fish and chips Hazel Glen Fish Chips is worth a visit. Tonight we didn't place a phone order so the wait was a little long. Next time we will ring through and pick the order up."

"Ordered in store, waited about 15 minutes, then went up to the counter, and asked if that was our order that had been sitting there for over five minutes,? Drove home with order to find out the order was incomplete, no fries, asked for no onion on souvlaki and there was. Asked for extra bacon on top of parmigiana, there was none. Rang store, and was told they were replacing the meal to be greeted by the store manager and person who took the order at the front door accusing me of being a liar. They were very abusive and angry . Told us we had to produce the food. I said we fed it to the dogs. Yet again being accused of being a liar. Proved to him the onion that was in the souvlaki. Was very abusive again , with bags in his hands with our meal he walked away. Saying he couldn’t be bothered."

"Lunch with friends here. Looking for something healthy to eat was difficult. I settled on the smoked salmon salad. It was a small bowl of lettuce leaves with a very oily dressing, no tomato, cucumber or any other salad ingredients except a small piece of fanned avocado and a few capers. The smoked salmon was a joke, maybe one slice cut into small pieces throughout the leaves. For $19 it was ridiculous and the only thing that stopped me complaining was I didn't want to embarrass my friends. This was somewhere I had heard in the past was a nice place to go. The view is nice and the service was ok but they are taking advantage of the fact there is not a lot of choice in that area for lunch and definitely overcharging. My dish was probably worth $10 not almost $20. Won't be back and will not be recommending to anyone."
