"Kitchen lost my order. I was not informed by the waiting staff and instead I had to chase it up. Did not receive an apology nor a reduction in my bill as a gesture of food will. Had I not asked the staff why the two childrenâs pizzas were taking so long (over minutes) they wouldnât have said anything. Very unprofessional The toilets werenât in a very good state either."

"I was torn what rating to put for this place. The pizzas were good; not fantastic, but definitely above average. The tables are rustic and unusual, I understand why they like them, but with uneven surfaces , it was difficult to keep the glass standing, and they were very dirty, with cracks full of dust and grease, not optimal with a toddler playing with the fork. They should put a glass surface on top. That would keep the nice look, but make it possible to keep it clean. The service was not great, we had an unpleasant experience. I was there with my toddler, who was very hungry. It took a long time for the food to come, and I had to ask them to bring his juice while waiting, they had forgotten. Halfway through the meal, my son needed a nappy change. I left our coats on the bench and took him to the bathroom. When we came back just a few minutes later, our plates, his half full juice and everything else had been removed from the table. I had finished, but he, being a slow eater, had only had a quarter of his pizza, and was still hungry. They offered to make a new pizza, but since my son already had waited so long, and struggled to sit still, I wasn't sure what to do. Fortunately, it turned out his pizza was still on the plate in the kitchen, so they brought it back directly. I asked to get it to go, since I felt very stressed and didn't want to stay a minute longer. It was a nice day, so we finished the meal in the beautiful woods next door instead. It wasn't until long after that I remembered that we also had ordered dessert, which I think they charged us for even though we didn't get the chance to eat it. If I ever try this place again, it will be takeaway, I am not sure I would like to return to eat in the restaurant."

"My friends and I enjoyed the 3-course party set menu $21.5) and it is certainly a good example for Mediterranean cuisine. for a beginner I had the 'serbten fresh king scallops', served in a citrus juice. a bit cheesy, but definitiw a good choice for the starter. for my main course I decided to recommend for the restaurants 'signature' dish, confit lamb. the lamb is slowly boiled and then pressed into a cylindrical shape. the meat melts on the rim and is very succulent. a good place to go for a group dinner, cheap and a wonderful value. make sure to make a reservation!"

"<br/>Being a local of Finsbury park and ordering from here a number of times online. This is the first time in a while I've actually gone to the establishment to collect my order. Im very disappointed in the fact when see what is advertised on the menu, I expect to receive it. However this was not the case after ordering the ‘Deal for which visually stated inch pizza, garlic bread chips and cans of drink’ <br/>Order received...no chips? When questioned Emparo pizza tried to make me look the idiot like what I had said was a figment of my imagination. As the picture (which clearly included chips) was not valid. Apparently the sticky tape covering the word Chips was obviously a sufficient explanation as to why chips were not available. <br br/>Very annoyed at this and warn anyone from ordering here, don't be fooled. Misleading and conned!!"
