"Excellent breakfast in beautiful location with beautiful view. it doesn't matter to pay for quality. hubby enjoyed a posh full English mine was a posh touch on toast, both tasted super. I'm looking forward to the next visit."

"This Chip shop is award winning. The award for the ‘Worst Fish and Chip Supper Ever Tasted’ The fish was over cooked to the point where it was like beef drained of any moisture. The chips were cold greasy and over cooked. Tha prices were exorbitant even for good food which this was certainly not. Apart from the dreadful food the lasting memory is the layer of grease lining my mouth. If the choice eating here or go hungry. Choose hunger your pocket and heart will be less abused."

"Stayed here for one night last night in the Bede suite. Was recommended by a friend and what a find. It was a surprise for my hubby 's birthday and we both had a lovely time! Room and breakfast was lovely and in a lovely part of the countryside, if you are looking for something a little different to a 'normal ' hotel stay then can 't recommend this place enough."

"What a great find. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is excellent, offering all local produce. The different meat dishes were all looking very tasty. To start, we had the charcuterie, with various pickles, absolutely delicious. I had the 'pub pie ', which was beef and Stilton, my wife had the deer steak. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The pub offers a number of smoked meats for sale, which they produce themselves. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend The Kings Arms for excellent food and atmosphere."
